The Pasir Gudang region of Malaysia has a dense concentration of livestock and agricultural industries, possessing abundant organic raw materials such as chicken manure, cow manure, and palm fruit pomace. Simultaneously, the agricultural input market has a strong demand for compound granular fertilizers and organic granular fertilizers. To achieve resource utilization of waste materials and upgrade fertilizer products, the local customer introduced our fully automated roller extrusion granulation production line. On September 26, 2025, the entire set of equipment was successfully installed, positioned, and tested under no-load and with material, meeting the standards for production commencement.

The roller extrusion granulation production line adopted a dry extrusion granulation process, requiring no drying or the addition of binders. It is highly adaptable to low-moisture fermented materials, and can directly granulate materials with a moisture content controlled at 20%–30%. The core unit is equipped with high-strength alloy wear-resistant rollers, and the roller gap can be electrically fine-tuned, stably producing irregular granules of 2–6mm. The overall granulation qualification rate of the machine can reach over 85%. The production line is equipped with an automatic feeder, forced mixer, vibrating screen, return system, and PLC control cabinet, achieving closed-loop automated production of feeding, mixing, granulation, screening, and return.

Designed for Malaysia’s consistently hot, humid, and rainy tropical conditions, the equipment is constructed entirely of thickened anti-corrosion plates. Motors, electrical controls, and bearings are all moisture-proof and sealed, effectively preventing roller sticking, rust, and electrical circuit malfunctions caused by moisture. The production line operates with low energy consumption, low noise, a compact structure, and a small footprint, making it ideal for standardized production in small and medium-sized fertilizer processing plants in Southeast Asia.

Our technical personnel conducted on-site equipment leveling, pressure parameter adjustments, and finished product sampling and testing. They also provided systematic training to local operators on equipment maintenance, roller replacement, material blockage handling, and daily inspections. After the project was put into operation, production remained stable, producing high-hardness, moisture-free, and easily stored granules, widely applicable for fertilization in oil palm, fruit and vegetable, and flower cultivation.
