On April 1, 2026, the complete set of equipment for the powdered organic fertilizer production line in Anshun, Guizhou, was officially shipped to the project site in Anshun City after completing factory commissioning. This is the first powdered organic fertilizer production line shipped by our company to the central Guizhou region in 2026. The core fermentation equipment uses a trough-type turning machine to process the mixture of local livestock and poultry manure and straw.
Project Background: Improved Farmland Quality in Anshun Drives Demand for Organic Fertilizer
Anshun is located in the heart of central Guizhou and is an important grain, oil, and vegetable production area in Guizhou. In recent years, Anshun City has continuously promoted the reduction and efficiency improvement of chemical fertilizers and the substitution of chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizers. The 2026 crop rotation project in Zhenning Autonomous County clearly stipulates the purchase of commercial organic fertilizers, with a budget of 1.4996 million yuan, for the improvement of farmland quality. The Anshun Academy of Agricultural Sciences is also conducting long-term monitoring of the reduction of chemical fertilizers and partial substitution with organic fertilizers. Against this backdrop, building a localized powdered organic fertilizer production line has become a pragmatic measure for Anshun to achieve on-site resource utilization of manure and ensure the supply of organic fertilizer.
Equipment Configuration: Powdered Fermentation Line with a Trench Turner as the Core
This powdered organic fertilizer production line adopts a complete configuration, covering the entire process from fermentation to packaging. Core equipment includes a trough turner, a horizontal mixer, a half-wet material crusher, a drum screen, and an automatic packaging machine. The fermentation stage uses a trough design, with materials placed in the fermentation trough. The trough turner travels along a track, turning, aerating, and shifting the materials within the trough. The turning depth can reach 1.2–1.5 meters, ensuring thorough decomposition of the bottom material. After decomposition, the material is crushed, screened, and directly packaged as powdered organic fertilizer, eliminating the need for drying and granulation. The overall investment and energy consumption are significantly lower than those of granular fertilizer production lines. The equipment has been optimized for anti-sticking and wear resistance, taking into account the characteristics of the mixture of cow manure, chicken manure, and straw found in Anshun.
Core Functions of the Trench Compost Turner
In the production of powdered organic fertilizer, the trench compost turner performs four functions: oxygen supply, temperature regulation, evaporation promotion, and uniform composting. When the pile temperature reaches 55℃–65℃, the turner periodically turns the compost, turning the uncomposted material from the outer layer into the interior and the hot material from the interior to the outer layer, ensuring uniform fermentation throughout the trough. During the turning process, the material is in full contact with air, moisture evaporates rapidly, and the composting cycle can be shortened to 15–20 days, far exceeding the efficiency of manual turning.
Project Significance: Closed-Loop Transformation from Manure to Powdered Fertilizer
After this production line is put into operation, it can mix and ferment livestock and poultry manure with straw and other auxiliary materials from local farms in Anshun, transforming it into powdered organic fertilizer, realizing a “livestock-manure-fertilizer-planting” cycle. For Anshun, this is not only an environmental protection project for livestock and poultry manure treatment, but also a concrete practice to promote the improvement of arable land quality and reduce the amount of chemical fertilizer used. Powdered organic fertilizer has a low investment threshold and a short process flow, making it suitable for small and medium-sized start-ups and a pragmatic choice for the industrialization of organic fertilizer in Anshun.
