Yangxi County, Guangdong Province, has a well-developed fruit and vegetable planting and aquaculture industry, with abundant reserves of organic raw materials such as livestock and poultry manure and crop straw. To meet the demand for high-end granulated organic fertilizer and improve the quality and capacity of finished granules, local enterprises customized and put into operation our rotary drum + disc combined organic fertilizer granulation production line. On November 9, 2025, the entire line was installed, debugged, and put into trial production with materials, officially commencing large-scale operation.
This production line features a customized high-configuration combined granulation process, designed for a stable output of 6-8 tons/hour, making it an optimal solution for medium to large-scale organic fertilizer processing. The production line is equipped with a large rotary drum granulator at the front end, responsible for the initial shaping and batch granulation of materials. It is suitable for high-moisture fermented manure and straw mixtures, with a feed moisture content of 30%-40%, resulting in a high initial shaping rate and stable output capacity. The downstream system incorporates a large disc granulator for secondary refining and granulation, grinding, rounding, and refining irregular particles. This dual-process approach perfectly solves problems such as uneven particle size, excessive powder content, and loose finished products associated with single-process granulation equipment.
The entire production line is equipped with a fully automated batching system, a twin-shaft high-power mixer, a drum dryer and cooler, multi-stage screening equipment, and an automatic packaging unit, all under centralized PLC frequency conversion control. Through this dual-process granulation, the finished particle diameter is stably controlled at 2-4mm, resulting in round, compact particles with high hardness and good storage and transportation resistance. The finished product moisture content is consistently ≤14%, fully complying with national standards for commercial organic fertilizer. Designed for the hot, humid, and rainy climate of southern Guangdong, the equipment is optimized for rust prevention, moisture resistance, and material sticking prevention, allowing for long-term continuous high-intensity operation.
Our technical team conducted on-site equipment layout calibration, pipeline connection, and parameter debugging. They specifically optimized the granulation speed, drying temperature, and material ratio based on local raw material characteristics, and provided comprehensive hands-on training for operators. After the project is put into operation, the production capacity is stable and the finished products are of excellent quality, which greatly enhances the market competitiveness of customers’ organic fertilizer products.
