Working principle
Our company’s new vertical disc mixer is a new type of mixer, primarily composed of a mixing disc, a discharge port, agitator arms, a frame, a gearbox, and a transmission mechanism. When the motor starts, power is transmitted to the main shaft via a reducer, driving the mixing devices on each stage to operate synchronously. The unique disc design creates a complex flow field as it rotates: the upper paddles push the material downward, the serrated discs in the middle provide powerful shearing, and the scrapers on the bottom ensure seamless mixing.
Advantages
Vertical disc mixers are primarily used for mixing raw materials. The mixer’s disc is lined with polypropylene or stainless steel, making it less prone to sticking and more wear-resistant. The use of a cycloidal pinwheel reducer makes the mixer compact, easy to operate, provides uniform mixing, and facilitates unloading and conveying.
